POSITION TITLE: Senior Match Coordinator - Site Based Team
DEPARTMENT: Programs – Site Based
REPORTS TO: Program Manager – Site Based Match Support
LOCATION: Hybrid – Remote and Office
COMPENSATION: $55,000-$57,500 DOE, plus benefits including 4 weeks of vacation, 12 sick days, 2 personal days, and comprehensive health coverage.
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt, Full-time; availability for evenings and weekends is necessary.
ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT: Big Brothers Big Sisters of Puget Sound (BBBSPS) is committed to fostering one-to-one mentoring relationships that empower youth. The Senior Match Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the Site Based Program, ensuring that all operational aspects are effectively managed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the Program Manager and Site Based Team to achieve program goals and objectives.
- Facilitate staff development and lead quality assurance initiatives for the Site Based Team.
- Oversee the annual planning process, coordinating with partner sites and managing logistics for activities.
- Identify training needs for match participants to enhance their experience and satisfaction.
- Monitor and evaluate youth outcomes and ensure compliance with quality measures.
- Lead training sessions for new staff and develop training materials.
- Maintain a high standard of youth protection and risk management throughout all job functions.
- Foster collaborative relationships with community organizations to enhance program reach.
- Provide insights for program improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Model positive behaviors and encourage teamwork among Site Based team members.
- Utilize program data to track progress towards goals and ensure quality service delivery.
- Collaborate with leadership to support strategic planning and program growth.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in human services, education, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
- Experience in a similar role or within the Site Based Team is preferred.
- Proficient in using software such as MatchForce (Salesforce) or similar systems.
- Strong communication skills and experience working with diverse populations.
- Understanding of child development and family dynamics.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Combination of on-site and remote work, with regular travel to partner sites.
- Office environment with a moderate noise level.
- Physical demands include standing, walking, and occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs.
