Position Overview:

As a Naval Program Acquisition Specialist, you play a crucial role in the acquisition and contract management lifecycle, essential to fulfilling our clients' objectives. We are seeking an individual who can effectively bridge communication with government entities. Your enthusiasm for enhancing both pre- and post-award federal contracts will contribute significantly to our national defense efforts.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the coordination of program activities and manage subcontractor personnel to ensure timely progress and accurate financial reporting.
  • Provide expert guidance on statutory, regulatory, and policy updates that influence project success.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for acquisition initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to devise strategies for effective program execution.
  • Possession of TS/SCI clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience providing contractor support to the Navy.
  • Familiarity with the Adaptive Acquisition Framework (AAF) and its various pathways.
  • Experience in drafting acquisition documents such as Acquisition Strategies and Acquisition Program Baselines (APB).
  • Comprehensive understanding of DoD Acquisition processes, including interaction with contracting, budgeting, engineering, and testing functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • PMP Certification is a plus.
  • CFCM or CCCM Certification is advantageous.

Security Clearance:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.
