Position Overview:

As a Naval Program Acquisition Specialist, you play a crucial role in the acquisition and contract management lifecycle, essential for supporting our clients' missions. We seek an individual who can effectively serve as a bridge to government entities, utilizing your expertise to enhance pre- and post-award federal contracts and streamline processes that are vital to national defense.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate coordination among program activities and subcontractor teams, ensuring timely and accurate monthly progress and financial performance reports.
  • Provide in-depth acquisition knowledge regarding all relevant statutory, regulatory, and policy updates that influence project outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders to secure necessary approvals and support.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to devise strategies for effective program execution.
  • Possession of TS/SCI clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience providing contractor support to the Navy.
  • Familiarity with the Adaptive Acquisition Framework (AAF) and its various pathways.
  • Proven track record in drafting acquisition documents, such as Acquisition Strategies and Acquisition Program Baselines (APB).
  • Comprehensive understanding of DoD Acquisition processes, including interactions with contracting, budgeting, engineering, and testing.
  • Ability to thrive as a self-starter and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • PMP Certification is a plus.
  • CFCM or CCCM Certification is advantageous.

Clearance Requirements:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.
