About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Naval Combat Systems Integration Analyst to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development, testing, acquisition, and integration of ship combat systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support on behalf of the Navy program office throughout all phases of the combat systems development lifecycle, including requirements development, system design, performance analysis, testing, systems of systems integration, sustainment, and logistics.
- Work in a team environment with senior staff supporting combat systems development, acquisition, sustainment, logistics, and readiness assessments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including requirements, design specifications, and test plans.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in combat systems technology and apply this knowledge to support the development of new systems and capabilities.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in working with combat systems for the DoD or U.S. Navy as a civilian, military personnel, or contractor.
- Experience with Military networks, sensors, and weapons system integration.
- Experience with either Aegis Combat System or Ship Self Defense System (SSDS).
- Experience with Strategic Planning.
- Secret clearance.
- HS diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with developing dashboards, databases, or data science tools, including Microsoft Power Apps or SharePoint.
- Experience with U.S. Navy platforms, combat and networked systems, surface and air-launched weapons, C4I, Sensors, and EW systems.
- Experience with NAVSEA and Naval Surface Warfare Center programs.
- Knowledge of DoD acquisition and logistics policies and procedures.
- TS/SCI clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in CS, Mathematics, Physics, or an engineering field preferred; Master's degree in CS, Mathematics, Physics, or an engineering field a plus.
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
