Position Overview:

The Naval Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Program Manager will oversee the strategic planning and implementation of significant projects and contracts, ensuring alignment with Booz Allen's overarching goals and adherence to necessary technical and programmatic standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the management of major programs within PEO USC, PEO Ships, or SEA 21.
  • Facilitate collaboration with Firm leadership to attract, hire, and nurture skilled personnel for critical NAVSEA and associated PEO initiatives.
  • Engage in business development and proposal activities within a cooperative framework to drive the success of strategic objectives.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a program manager or deputy program manager in relevant naval sectors.
  • Strong understanding of shipbuilding processes, weapons system procurement, and original equipment manufacturer contracts.
  • Demonstrated capability in conducting business development efforts.
  • Possession of a Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in business, capture, and proposal development, or a Master's degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expertise in business development, capture strategies, and proposal formulation.
  • Ability to cultivate and lead teams focused on securing new projects.
  • Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance.
  • Master's degree in Business Administration.
  • DAWIA Level III Certification in Program Management, Production, Quality, and Manufacturing, Engineering, or Test and Evaluation.

Security Clearance:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is mandatory.

Salary at Booz Allen is influenced by various factors, including location, individual qualifications, skills, and experience, as well as contract-specific considerations. The anticipated salary range for this role is between $139,400.00 and $259,000.00 annually.

Work Environment:

If this position is designated as remote or hybrid, you will occasionally work from a Booz Allen or client site facility. If listed as onsite, in-person collaboration with colleagues and clients will be required as necessary.
