Position Overview:

The Naval Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing the strategic planning and execution of significant projects and contracts that align with Booz Allen's overarching goals and necessary technical and programmatic standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the management of major programs within PEO USC, PEO Ships, or SEA 21.
  • Foster collaboration with Firm leadership to recruit, train, and develop a skilled workforce for essential NAVSEA and associated PEO initiatives.
  • Engage in business development and proposal efforts within a cooperative framework to ensure the successful attainment of strategic objectives.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a major program manager or deputy program manager in relevant naval sectors.
  • Strong understanding of shipbuilding processes, weapons system acquisition, and original equipment manufacturer contracts.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct business development initiatives.
  • Possession of a Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in business, capture, and proposal development, or a Master's degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expertise in business development, capture strategies, and proposal formulation.
  • Capability to build and lead teams to secure new contracts.
  • Possession of TS/SCI clearance.
  • Master's degree in Business Administration.
  • DAWIA Level III Certification in Program Management, Production, Quality, and Manufacturing, Engineering, or Test and Evaluation.

Security Clearance:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is mandatory.

The salary for this position is influenced by various factors, including location, education, experience, and specific organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this role is between $139,400.00 and $259,000.00 annually.

Work Environment:

Our culture emphasizes flexibility and collaboration, whether in-person or remote. Depending on the position's classification, employees may work from a Booz Allen or client site facility as needed.
