Position Overview:


As a Space Systems Integration Specialist, you will leverage your technical expertise and strategic vision to significantly contribute to the Department of Defense (DoD) initiatives. Your understanding of client environments will enable you to design and implement optimal systems tailored to their operational needs.

Your proficiency in translating practical requirements into technical specifications will position you as a vital contributor to delivering customer-centric engineering solutions.

In this role, you will collaborate with Booz Allen colleagues and the U.S. Space Force to innovate, swiftly deploy, and integrate cutting-edge space, ground, and user capabilities throughout the Space Enterprise. Your efforts will play a crucial role in deterring threats and providing essential intelligence to our military personnel.

Your clients will rely on your expertise to not only architect, engineer, integrate, test, and deploy these systems but also to proactively identify and address critical areas needing immediate attention, ensuring the development of advanced technological solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the design, integration, and testing of ground and space systems or aerospace systems.
  • Experience in developing, maintaining, or reviewing integration documentation, including System Integration and Test Plans (SITP), Requirements Verification Ledger (RVL), Requirements Verification Plans (RVP), and Interface Control Documents (ICD).
  • Proficient in reviewing technical drawings, documents, and procedures related to hardware design, manufacturing, integration, and program execution, providing insightful feedback and recommendations.
  • Ability to identify, document, and analyze interdependencies in integration activities, including relationships, issues, and risks, while proposing effective solutions and mitigations.
  • Capable of recommending enhancements to systems engineering and integration processes that boost efficiency, mitigate risks, and improve collaboration.
  • Experience in performing multiple systems engineering and program management functions to support design reviews and requirements verification, offering technically sound recommendations.
  • Strong communication skills to establish collaborative relationships with government clients and contractor teams to achieve program objectives.
  • Top Secret clearance is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in systems engineering, integration, and testing of space systems.
  • Experience with launch integration activities.
  • Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering approaches for managing system definitions and technical baselines.
  • Knowledge of DoD standards and Agile methodologies.
  • TS/SCI clearance.
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related discipline.
  • INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certification (ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP).

Clearance Requirements:


Selected applicants will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; a Top Secret clearance is mandatory.

Compensation:

At Booz Allen, we recognize your contributions and provide a competitive compensation package. Salary is determined by various factors, including location, education, skills, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 annually.
