Position Overview
In the role of Space Mission Program Manager at Millennium Space Systems, you will oversee a team dedicated to delivering high-quality space solutions to both governmental and commercial clients. This position requires the management of both internal and external operations, ensuring projects are completed within established timelines and budgets while maintaining effective communication with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide projects to successful completion within set timeframes and financial constraints
- Oversee schedules, risk assessments, and procurement strategies
- Maintain regular communication with senior management and clients
- Monitor project deliverables and progress
- Work in conjunction with engineering teams to fulfill project specifications
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or a related discipline
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in developing complex systems
- At least 2 years of experience in project management
Desirable Qualifications
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal abilities
- Experience with fast-paced development initiatives
- Familiarity with US Government clientele
- Proven track record of delivering projects on schedule and within budget
- Master's Degree in engineering or a related discipline
- Experience in satellite mission management
- Background in aerospace environments
- Possession of an existing security clearance
Compensation Range
- Level 5: $146,200 - $215,000
- Level 6: $168,300 - $247,500
