Role Responsibilities

As a Certified Respiratory Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional respiratory care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Administering and managing acute care ventilators for both short and long-term mechanical ventilation.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of patient care.
  • Performing diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures with compassion and professionalism.
  • Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in Florida.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
  • ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications to be obtained within six months of hire.
  • Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Care program.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
