Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and deliver respiratory care services to patients, including diagnostic testing and therapeutic procedures.
  • Monitor patients receiving invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation, and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on respiratory health and disease management.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest respiratory care techniques and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current Florida Registered Respiratory Therapist licensure.
  • American Heart Association BLS health care provider certification.
  • ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications within 6 months of hire.
  • Graduate of a Respiratory Care program accredited by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
