Key ResponsibilitiesLead Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift Role
We are in search of a Lead CRT/RRT Respiratory Therapist to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to our patients. In this leadership position, you will assess respiratory needs and develop comprehensive care plans. We are a supportive team seeking a dedicated individual who shares our commitment to patient care.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating acute care ventilators for both short and long-term mechanical ventilation.
- Maintaining departmental records and accurately entering patient information into the hospital system.
- Administering a range of respiratory therapy procedures to patients across all age groups.
To be considered for this role, you should possess:
- A degree from an AMA-approved respiratory care program (Associate Degree; Bachelor's Degree preferred).
- A minimum of three years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, with critical care and intubation experience preferred.
- A valid Florida license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within six months of hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within six months of hire.
