Position ResponsibilitiesLead Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift
We are in search of a Lead CRT/RRT Respiratory Therapist to ensure our patients receive top-notch, efficient care. In this role, you will assess respiratory needs and develop comprehensive care plans for patients. Our team is supportive and collaborative, and we are eager to welcome a new member who shares our commitment to quality patient care.
Your Key Responsibilities Include:
- Operating and managing acute care ventilators for both short and long-term mechanical ventilation.
- Demonstrating self-direction in your work.
- Maintaining accurate departmental and hospital records, ensuring all therapy information is correctly entered into the hospital's systems.
- Setting up and administering a variety of respiratory therapy procedures for patients across all age groups.
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited respiratory care program (Associate Degree); Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, with critical care and intubation experience preferred.
- Active Florida license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required; must obtain within 6 months of hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required; must obtain within 6 months of hire.
