Position Summary

We are looking for a Lead CRT/RRT Respiratory Therapist to join our hospital team, ensuring that we deliver high-quality, efficient care to all patients. In this leadership role, you will assess respiratory needs and develop and implement individualized Respiratory Care Plans.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Managing the application and operation of acute care ventilators for both short and long-term mechanical ventilation.
  • Demonstrating self-direction in your role.
  • Maintaining accurate departmental and hospital records, ensuring data integrity in our systems.
  • Setting up and administering both routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures for patients across all age groups.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited respiratory care program (Associate Degree); Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, with critical care and intubation experience preferred.
  • Active Florida license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required; must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required; must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
