Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Budget Administrative Assistant to join our team in Arlington, VA. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to manage office tasks and processes, documenting policies and procedures, and collaborating with budget analysts and stakeholders to create, coordinate, and consolidate program review products and budgetary data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage periodic financial execution reviews as the lead for building briefing books, ensuring proper classification, and pulling financial reports from the accounting system.
  • Collaborate with budget analysts and stakeholders to create, coordinate, and consolidate program review products and budgetary data for Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution cycles.
  • Make decisions concerning the preparation and tracking of financial transactions supporting multiple programs, locations, and government customers.
Requirements
  • An active TS/SCI clearance is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience using a federal financial/accounting system, preferably with updating accounts, records, reports, and controls.
  • Experience performing analyses in various finance and accounting functions such as Budget Formulation, Budget Justification, Budget Execution and Tracking/Review.
