Job Title: Finance Operations Specialist
Company OverviewDynamis, Inc. is a leading provider of facilities management services to the U.S. government.
We are seeking an experienced Finance Operations Specialist to join our team in support of our ICE Facilities Management Support Contract.
Job DescriptionThis role involves providing financial management support to the ICE Facilities Leadership Team, including coordinating data inquiries, writing investment justifications, and working with subject matter experts to provide information needed to develop and advocate for resource requirements.
The successful candidate will have experience managing programs/projects similar to the areas identified for this role, real property management in the federal government.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with consolidating requirements and drafting documentation to support all out-year budget requests
- Coordinating with the ICE Facilities Leadership in conducting analysis, consolidating documentation, and providing draft inputs for the Resource Allocation Plan (RAP) and Spend Plan(s)
- Supporting the Financial Division in tracking and processing financial data in SAP (or its replacement) and on external reports for the PMO
- Entering procurement requests and reporting accurate funds commitment, obligation, and disbursement data in SAP (or its replacement)
- Ensuring that the budget is executed in accordance with applicable federal laws and regulations
- Supporting clients with the Reimbursable Work Authorizations (RWAs) process
- Drafting, editing, and reviewing documents on process, policy, procedure, and training, and tracking and analyzing financial performance indicators on programs and projects
- Coordinating meetings with stakeholders on financial management topics and coordinating financial management training sessions as needed
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Business Administration-Finance
- Five (5) years of experience managing programs/projects similar to the areas identified for this role, real property management in the federal government
- Seven (7) years of supervisory experience
- Experience in Government budget and knowledge of Federal Appropriations Law
- Utilizing and applying computer software including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Advanced PowerPoint Skills including Presentation/Deck development
- Advanced Excel skills – mastery of complex if/then statements, match/index, advance pivot, and chart/graphic development and visual basic programming for macro development
- Dashboards – Ability to input to centralized interfaces to provide important financial information
- Visio- skilled in the ability to develop decision trees
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
