Job Title: District Sales Manager

A competitive salary of $120,000 to $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, is offered for this challenging role.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales management and a proven track record of driving business growth. This position is responsible for leading a team of sales professionals in achieving district sales goals and developing strategies to penetrate new markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Development: Identify and evaluate new market potential; establish a strategy and develop plans to enhance those markets.
  • Customer Service: Spearhead management of customer service and achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Incentives: Contribute to developing effective sales incentive programs.
  • Performance Monitoring: Remain current on sales performance and provide sales reports as required.
  • Sales Volume Increase: Increase sales volume through direct sales efforts and by assisting outside sales personnel.
  • Team Collaboration: Promote a team sales approach between the outside and inside sales personnel.
  • New Customer Acquisition: Develop new customers; identify, track, and qualify projects.
  • Productivity Goals: Works to ensure sales and productivity goals are met.
  • Staff Selection: Participate in selecting high-quality representatives throughout the recruiting process.
  • Coaching and Development: Exhibit ongoing effectiveness in coaching staff to project XL Parts Value statement.
  • Goal Achievement: Meet and/or exceed established sales goals.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Know, comply with and enforce applicable corporate and regulatory policies and procedures.
  • Customer Support: Work cooperatively with stores/operations personnel to improve customer service and resolve customer issues.
  • Leadership Relationships: Foster close, cooperative relationships with peer leaders and other senior executives.
