About the Role

">

The Sales Representative will be responsible for increasing market share and sales for Dal-Tile in the prescribed region. The ideal candidate will have 4 years of prior selling experience, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

">
  • Conduct weekly sales calls to existing customers and potential new accounts.
  • Prepare weekly sales and call reports.
  • Develop a monthly strategy for sales calls and prepare a travel calendar based on that strategy.
  • Conduct area market analysis of top accounts in each area.
  • Grow market share by increasing sales and sales volume while maintaining company-approved product margin goals.
  • Utilize influence and negotiation skills to sell products to customers.
  • Establish and maintain client files and perform timely follow-ups on programs and projects.
  • Provide product knowledge seminars to customers.
  • Utilize reporting tools to achieve sales objectives.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma and some college education are preferred.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
  • A clean driving record and reliable transportation are required.
  • 4 years of prior selling experience is necessary.
  • Proven ability to work in an unstructured environment is essential.
