Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Drainage Engineer to join our team at Parsons Corporation. As a key member of our Water Resources group, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing drainage systems for transportation and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and analyze drainage systems for transportation and infrastructure projects
  • Perform hydrology and hydraulics analysis to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Develop and implement stormwater management and green infrastructure designs
  • Conduct bridge scour analysis and erosion control design
  • Model and analyze river and watershed systems

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in drainage design, water resources engineering, and related functions
  • Proficiency in MicroStation and other water resources engineering software
  • Knowledge of Chesapeake Bay Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) requirements
  • Active involvement in professional organizations
  • EIT or Professional Engineering Certification required
