The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in business development, focusing on project proposals, client relations, and strategic marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance and leadership in water resources, hydraulic, and fisheries engineering.
  • Utilize 1D/2D/3D hydraulic modeling techniques to facilitate the planning of various water resource initiatives, including:

stream rehabilitation, fish passage solutions, fish behavior analysis, screened surface water intakes, intricate culverts and bridges, as well as floodplain management.

  • Lead a team to effectively inform design decisions based on model mechanics.
  • Hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Possess a PE license in the State of Washington.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project), GIS, AutoCAD, Civil3D, and hydraulic modeling software such as HEC-RAS and SRH-2D.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in leading engineering teams to successfully execute water resource projects.
  • A network of contacts or a portfolio of clients across various states.
