Senior Water/Wastewater Engineering Manager

Delon Hampton & Associates, Chartered (DHA) is in search of two (2) experienced Water/Wastewater Engineering Managers. One position focuses on rehabilitation projects for treatment plants and pumping stations, while the other emphasizes pipeline rehabilitation and bypass systems within a significant water management program.

COMPENSATION
$50 to $80 per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments and strategize capital improvement initiatives, along with providing support for permitting processes;
  • Prepare Requests for Qualifications (RFQ) and Requests for Proposals (RFP) for Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) and Progressive Design-Build (PDB) contracts, ensuring oversight of external design efforts;
  • Engage and coordinate with diverse stakeholders;
  • Oversee multiple project timelines and financial plans;
  • Review design and construction submissions for compliance and quality.

Required Qualifications

  • A degree in civil engineering or a closely related discipline is essential;
  • Demonstrated years of relevant engineering design and management experience are necessary;
  • A Professional Engineering (PE) license is mandatory;
  • Knowledge of operational and permitting standards is essential;
  • Experience with trenchless technology for pipeline upgrades, project permitting, and bypass systems is advantageous;
  • Familiarity with water/wastewater design standards is preferred;
  • Experience with CMAR and PDB project delivery methods is beneficial;
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite is required;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
