About the Role

The IT Project Management Coordinator will serve as a vital link between internal departments and DataServ's clientele. This role involves collaborating with various teams, including operations, finance, and engineering, to ensure project success.

On a daily basis, the IT Project Management Coordinator will act as the main contact for DataServ's engineering leaders and customer representatives, overseeing approximately 40-50 small to medium-sized projects that encompass diverse technologies across both public and commercial sectors. Projects may include hardware upgrades and the enterprise implementation of new technology systems.

Pre-employment checks, including a driver's license verification, background screening, and drug testing, are mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and prioritize projects to effectively utilize the Engineering team's skills
  • Analyze resource allocation and capacity planning, preferably with experience in relevant tools
  • Create project timelines and clearly communicate prerequisites and contingencies to stakeholders
  • Establish processes to accurately track and document project deliverables, licenses, and hardware serial numbers
  • Engage in daily customer interactions, primarily through phone and video calls
  • Facilitate communication between engineers, customers, and sales teams by preparing detailed meeting agendas and follow-up notes
  • Support administrative tasks, including time tracking, data entry, revenue forecasting, and expense reporting
  • Ensure comprehensive post-project documentation and reviews in collaboration with team leads for seamless transitions
  • Interpret scope of work documents to assist in decision-making processes
