Residential Caregiver for Adolescents

Location: Garden Valley, Idaho

Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young individuals? We are seeking dedicated Direct Care staff to provide essential behavioral support, supervision, and mentorship to adolescents in our care.

About Us: Project Patch is a non-profit, faith-based residential treatment facility catering to adolescents facing challenging life choices. Our program is licensed by the State of Idaho and accommodates up to 40 clients, supported by a dedicated team of nearly 40 staff members. We are accredited by The Joint Commission and offer a quality educational program for middle and high school students.

Our facility is nestled in the scenic mountains of Idaho, providing a serene environment for both staff and clients. Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Age and Experience:

• Preferred age for day supervision staff is 25 years, with a minimum requirement of 19 years at the time of hiring.
• Experience working with youth is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and engage with youth during assigned shifts.
2. Collaborate with team members to plan and execute recreational, educational, and spiritual activities.
3. Facilitate group sessions as needed.
4. Coordinate activities with the shift leader.
5. Complete necessary documentation and reports.
6. Administer medications in accordance with established policies.
7. Actively participate in various activities with clients, which may include physically demanding tasks.
8. Ensure the safety, welfare, and security of all clients.
9. Promote spiritual development by:

• Modeling a life aligned with Christian values.
• Leading or assisting in worship sessions.
• Providing mentorship on spiritual matters through discussions and prayer.
