Position Summary

The Event Resources Manager plays a crucial role in managing the logistics and execution of various programs and events. This position involves overseeing the entire process from initial planning stages to the final delivery of materials and post-event evaluations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating all facets of program materials and event execution, ensuring thorough preparation and effective on-site management.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact between Program Managers, Event Management, and other operational teams.
  • Assessing the feasibility of any changes to programs while on-site, ensuring compliance with operational standards.
  • Providing guidance to Program Managers on optimal strategies and necessary resources for successful program delivery.
  • Collaborating with the Event Support Manager to schedule additional staff as needed, ensuring all program requirements are met.
  • Maintaining organized storage for program materials and ensuring timely delivery or storage of these items.
  • Addressing any issues that may impact the success of a program promptly.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in event management is preferred.
  • Experience in the hospitality sector is essential.
  • Familiarity with operations, planning, and coordination within a meeting context is advantageous.
  • Strong proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams and OneNote is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Event, Sales, and Catering systems is preferred, with Infor experience being desirable.

This is a full-time role offering a competitive hourly wage.
