Our organization is looking for a Home Sales Operations Manager with a background in leadership, management, new home sales, and/or real estate to enhance our nationwide team. In this role, you will have the chance to lead a sales team while collaborating with our builder partners and their clients in realizing the American Dream. New Home Star stands as the largest privately owned seller of new homes in the country. You will play a vital role in guiding divisions and supporting our expansion efforts. Your involvement is essential, as you will serve as a resource for our builder partners and our sales team members.

Qualifications

New Home Star is looking for a motivated, educated, and goal-oriented sales leader to join our team. If you meet the following criteria, you may be an ideal candidate for this position:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in new home sales management.
  • Able to work in an office environment, visit on-site locations, and navigate construction sites during business hours, including weekends and evenings.
  • Passionate about engaging, educating, guiding, and influencing others.
  • Committed to ensuring customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and follow-up.
  • Self-motivated with a strong initiative and a willingness to learn and adapt to new information.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including Zoom and the MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • A real estate license is not required upon hiring but must be obtained once assigned to a division.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary for travel throughout the workday.
  • Valid driver's license and current liability insurance are required.
  • A bachelor's degree or higher is preferred.
  • Background checks are mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the sales leader with the daily management of assigned builder client accounts.
  • Ensure client satisfaction in sales strategy, results, staffing, and community marketing.
  • Meet and exceed company financial and operational objectives.
  • Guide New Home Star Sales Associates in effective sales techniques to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Act as a resource for Sales Associates in creating brand awareness and developing quarterly business plans for builder partners.
  • Lead team sales training sessions and meetings.
  • Provide insights on market conditions, local competition, and suggestions for advertising or incentive programs.
  • Participate in executive meetings and training sessions designed for management personnel to drive overall company strategy.
  • Encourage participation in ongoing sales training through our proprietary sales enablement platform and in-person sessions.
  • Oversee model home coverage and ensure the appearance of model homes, sales offices, and communities meets company standards.
