We are seeking a dynamic Residential Sales Operations Manager who is prepared to relocate across various regions in the United States, as we have numerous leadership roles available. Candidates must possess prior experience in new home sales directly with a home builder to be eligible.

Our organization is in search of a New Home Sales Director with a strong background in leadership, management, new home sales, and/or real estate to enhance our nationwide team. In this role, you will have the chance to lead a sales team while collaborating with our builder partners and their clients to realize the American Dream. New Home Star stands as the largest privately held seller of new homes in the United States, and you can play a pivotal role in leading divisions and supporting our expansion efforts. Your contributions will be vital, as you will serve as a resource for our builder partners and a support system for our sales team members. Qualifications

New Home Star is looking for a motivated, educated, and goal-oriented sales leader. If you meet the following criteria, you may be an ideal candidate for this position:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in new home sales management.
  • Able to work in an office environment, visit on-site, and navigate construction sites during business hours, including weekends and evenings.
  • Passionate about engaging, educating, guiding, and influencing others.
  • Committed to ensuring customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and follow-up.
  • Self-motivated with a strong initiative and a willingness to learn continuously.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including Zoom and the MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • A real estate license is not required upon hiring but must be obtained once assigned to a division.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary for travel throughout the workday.
  • Valid driver's license and current liability insurance are required.
  • A Bachelor's degree or higher is preferred.
  • Background checks are mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the sales leader with the daily management of assigned builder client accounts.
  • Ensure client satisfaction in sales strategy, results, staffing, and community marketing.
  • Meet and exceed company financial and operational objectives.
  • Guide New Home Star Sales Associates in effective sales techniques to maximize results and customer satisfaction.
  • Act as a resource for Sales Associates in developing brand awareness and business plans for builder partners.
  • Lead team sales training sessions and meetings.
  • Provide insights on market conditions, local competition, and recommendations for advertising or incentive programs.
  • Participate in executive meetings and training designed for managerial and director-level personnel to drive company strategy.
  • Encourage participation in ongoing sales training through our proprietary platform and in-person sessions.
  • Oversee model home coverage and ensure the appearance of model homes, sales offices, and communities meets company standards.
