We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our construction operations team and drive our national expansion. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to standardize, assimilate, and continuously improve our construction operations model.
About the JobWe are looking for a highly experienced construction operations expert to join our team as a Head of Construction Operations. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving our national expansion and ensuring that our construction operations are the best in the industry.
You will be responsible for evaluating existing staff, systems, and processes, recruiting, leading, mentoring, managing, and growing the operations team. You will also be responsible for onboarding newly acquired EPCs, scaling systems to support 30,000+ installs per month, and working from a home office anywhere in the US.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate existing staff, systems, and processes to identify areas for improvement
- Recruit, lead, mentor, manage, and grow the operations team
- Onboard newly acquired EPCs and integrate them into our operations
- Scale systems to support 30,000+ installs per month
- Work from a home office anywhere in the US
- Travel up to 20% of the time
- 7+ years of experience in residential solar construction operations
- 3+ years of experience as a manager of managers in residential solar sales
- Has led a construction operations organization of at least 30 employees
- Extensive experience managing outsourced partners both onshore and offshore
- Has owned overall construction operations efforts for at least one state, and ideally a multi-state or national territory
- Generous base salary DOE (negotiable with overall package)
- Bonuses based on key objectives such as improved profitability, decreased durations, delivery of internal projects, and other KPIs
- Carry on the overall performance of the portfolio
