Qualifications
New Home Star is looking for a motivated, educated, and goal-driven sales leader to join our ranks. If you meet the following criteria, you may be an excellent fit for this position:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in new home sales management.
- Ability to work in an office environment, visit construction sites, and be available during evenings and weekends.
- Passion and aptitude for engaging, educating, guiding, and influencing others.
- Commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction through consistent follow-up and communication.
- Self-motivated with a strong initiative and a willingness to learn continuously.
- Proficient in computer skills, including Zoom and the MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- A real estate license is not mandatory upon hiring but must be obtained once assigned to a division.
- Reliable transportation is essential for travel throughout the workday.
- Valid driver's license and current liability insurance are required.
- A bachelor's degree or higher is preferred.
- Background checks are a prerequisite.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the sales leader with the daily management of assigned builder client accounts.
- Ensure client satisfaction in sales strategy, results, staffing, and community marketing efforts.
- Meet and exceed company financial and operational objectives.
- Guide Sales Associates in effective sales techniques to maximize results and customer satisfaction.
- Act as a resource for Sales Associates in creating brand awareness and developing business plans for builder partners.
- Lead team sales training sessions and meetings.
- Provide insights on market conditions, local competition, and recommendations for advertising or incentive programs.
- Participate in executive meetings and training designed for management personnel to drive overall company strategy.
- Encourage participation in ongoing sales training through our proprietary sales enablement platform and in-person sessions.
- Oversee model home coverage and ensure that the model home, sales office, and community maintain high standards.
