Position Overview:

The primary objective of Elder Care Alliance is to cultivate an atmosphere where older adults requiring assisted living, dementia care, or skilled nursing can experience dignity, respect, and a meaningful life. This vision is realized through effective leadership, commitment, and teamwork. The Chief Executive Officer is accountable for the comprehensive management of the community, ensuring a consistent standard of quality care, services, and innovative programming that align with Elder Care Alliance's standards, objectives, and mission. Essential leadership competencies include the ability to oversee and apply best practices in care, services, and financial stewardship. Continuous oversight of program evaluation, marketing, and the introduction of new services are critical components of this role.

Qualifications:

Requirements:

A bachelor's degree is essential, with a preference for an advanced degree. A minimum of ten years of supervisory and administrative experience, including budgeting and program development, ideally in a multi-level or Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) setting. At least five years of prior experience as a Chief Executive Officer. Familiarity with dementia care services and programs is necessary.

A valid RCFE Administrator License is required, while a Nursing Home Administrator License is preferred.

Skills and Attributes:

Demonstrated sensitivity and understanding of working with older adults and the implications of aging in a social context. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to identify needs, develop, and manage programs and systems concurrently. A solid understanding of the healthcare landscape and the medical considerations for older adults is essential.
