Compensation: $125,000 to $145,000 – based on experience

Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy and Oversight:
  • Formulate and execute financial strategies to align with organizational goals.
  • Lead the annual budgeting cycle and provide ongoing financial forecasts to meet targets.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analyses to inform strategic decisions, including cost-benefit assessments and risk evaluations.
  • Prepare and deliver financial presentations to executive leadership, emphasizing critical insights and actionable recommendations.
Financial Governance:
  • Establish and uphold stringent financial controls to guarantee the accuracy and reliability of financial data.
  • Oversee internal audit functions and implement enhancements based on audit findings.
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable financial regulations and compliance standards.
  • Develop and enforce policies to strengthen financial governance and risk management practices.
Operational Financial Management:
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and investment strategies.
  • Enhance financial operations through process optimization and technological advancements.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure financial strategies support operational objectives.
Leadership and Team Development:
  • Guide and mentor the finance team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to keep the team's skills current.
  • Work closely with other executives and department leaders to drive strategic initiatives and enhance organizational performance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
  • Deep understanding of financial planning, analysis, and control mechanisms.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing financial strategies and controls.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to non-financial audiences.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems, particularly advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT is preferred.
