Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy and Analysis:
  • Formulate and execute financial strategies to align with organizational goals.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and provide ongoing financial forecasts.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analyses to support strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports for senior leadership, offering insights and recommendations.
Financial Governance:
  • Establish and uphold strong financial controls to ensure the integrity of financial data.
  • Oversee internal audit functions and implement enhancements based on findings.
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards.
  • Develop policies to strengthen financial governance and risk management.
Operational Effectiveness:
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and investment activities efficiently.
  • Enhance financial operations through process improvements and technology.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure financial alignment with operational objectives.
Leadership and Team Development:
  • Guide and mentor the finance team, promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Provide professional development opportunities to enhance team skills.
  • Work with other directors to drive strategic initiatives and improve organizational performance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • At least 10 years of progressive finance experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong expertise in financial planning, analysis, and governance.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing financial strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex financial concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Proficient in financial software and systems, with advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Experience with Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT is a plus.
