Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy and Analysis:
- Formulate and execute financial strategies to align with organizational goals.
- Lead the annual budgeting process and provide ongoing financial forecasts.
- Conduct in-depth financial analyses to support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports for senior leadership, offering insights and recommendations.
- Establish and uphold strong financial controls to ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Oversee internal audit functions and implement enhancements based on findings.
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards.
- Develop policies to strengthen financial governance and risk management.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and investment activities efficiently.
- Enhance financial operations through process improvements and technology.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure financial alignment with operational objectives.
- Guide and mentor the finance team, promoting a culture of excellence.
- Provide professional development opportunities to enhance team skills.
- Work with other directors to drive strategic initiatives and improve organizational performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- At least 10 years of progressive finance experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong expertise in financial planning, analysis, and governance.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing financial strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex financial concepts to diverse audiences.
- Proficient in financial software and systems, with advanced Excel capabilities.
- Experience with Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT is a plus.
