Position: GIS Testing and Support Specialist

Location: Onsite

Role Summary:

The successful candidate will be accountable for crafting comprehensive digital operational workflows to efficiently manage Semiconductor Research and Development Laboratories.

As a Business Analyst, you will collaborate with R&D Lab Operations teams, primarily focusing on Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluating business requirements and partnering with Business Process Analysts and end-users to refine and streamline these requirements for optimal business outcomes.
  • Configuring the MES to align with organizational needs.
  • Documenting and sustaining the MES modeling procedures.
  • Working alongside IT portfolio managers, project managers, and clients to co-create a MES roadmap, guiding products and features from conception to launch in a dynamic environment.
  • Engaging in Agile methodologies, continuously assessing business needs, refining priorities, outlining milestones and deliverables, and identifying potential opportunities and risks.
  • Collaborating with user-focused groups to define a self-service user experience, support, and monitoring for clients.
  • Translating product roadmap features into clearly defined product requirements, including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.
  • Prioritizing and managing the sprint backlog for assigned products, balancing stakeholder requirements.
  • Leading the functional design process based on an in-depth understanding of user needs and technology.
  • Defining and reviewing the Functional Specification document in accordance with Business Process Documentation and Business Requirements Documentation.
  • Presenting the Functional Specification to technical architects for design review and approval, collaborating with business support on the functional architecture for various processes in a semiconductor lab.
  • Providing support for global business operations across different time zones.
  • Participating in quality assurance checkpoints during delivery to offer guidance and ensure alignment with the original scope, reviewing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cases and working closely with business and execution teams to complete UAT.

Qualifications:

Fluency in English (writing and listening) is essential. A balance of technical expertise and business insight is required. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter with exceptional project management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Strong communication skills are necessary to engage, influence, and inspire collaboration among partners and stakeholders.

Proven experience and functional knowledge of an MES system is crucial, with familiarity in FactoryWorks MES being advantageous. Previous experience in the semiconductor industry or knowledge of semiconductor processes is preferred.

Education:

A Bachelor's degree coupled with at least one year of experience in product or project development is required. Experience working with MES solutions and/or within the semiconductor domain is essential. A solid background in launching software or services in collaboration with engineering teams, along with a high degree of proficiency in prototyping, iterative development, and understanding Agile principles, is expected. Experience in successfully driving end-to-end delivery of data and intelligence solutions, including various mechanisms such as dashboards, APIs, and real-time alerts, is also essential.
