The Lead Product Support Engineer will play a pivotal role in enhancing the lifecycle management of our storage solutions, concentrating on repair operations, failure analysis, and the integration of manufacturing processes. With a comprehensive understanding of NAND Flash or similar semiconductor memory technologies and proficient Python programming skills, you will devise innovative solutions to boost product reliability and maintainability, thereby minimizing downtime for our clients and contributing to sustainable product designs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize Python to develop automated tools and scripts for diagnosing issues, analyzing repair data, and refining repair procedures.
- Collaborate with both local and international repair facilities.
- Construct, modify, and maintain intricate testing systems.
- Enhance testing, diagnosis, and repair methodologies.
- Conduct thorough failure analysis to identify root causes of product failures and work with Engineering and manufacturing teams to mitigate future issues.
- Partner closely with the service logistics team to ensure efficient repair operations, improving customer satisfaction and product longevity.
- Facilitate cross-departmental communication, sharing insights and recommendations to enhance product design and manufacturing processes.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in storage technology, repair operations, and programming tools to continuously improve our repair and maintenance capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or a related field, with preference for candidates holding advanced degrees.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing/repair operations, particularly with NAND Flash or equivalent semiconductor memory products.
- Proficient in Python programming, with a demonstrated ability to apply programming skills to improve repair processes and failure analysis.
- Strong background in service logistics, manufacturing processes, and repair operations, with a proven track record of enhancing product reliability and service quality.
- Expertise in failure analysis, capable of identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Familiarity with current diagnostic tools and testing software.
- Exceptional project management and leadership skills, capable of guiding cross-functional initiatives and teams.
- Effective communicator, able to convey technical concepts clearly and persuasively to various stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel internationally and within California as required.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
The annual base salary range is competitive and reflective of the role, level, and location. This position may also be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
