Client Requirements:
This role involves direct engagement with the Manufacturing Execution System, functioning as a business analyst with experience in R&D laboratories within the semiconductor sector. Strong communication skills are essential, and occasional travel may be required.
Experience Level: 5-7 years
Travel Expectation: 10%
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive digital operational workflows to efficiently manage Semiconductor R&D Lab activities.
- Serve as a business analyst for R&D Lab Operations teams, primarily focusing on MES (Manufacturing Execution System).
- Evaluate business requirements and collaborate with BPA/End users to refine and streamline these requirements to deliver optimal business outcomes.
- Configure the MES System to align with business objectives.
- Document and uphold the MES modeling procedures.
- Work alongside IT portfolio managers, project managers, and clients to co-create a MES roadmap, driving products and features from conception to launch in a dynamic environment.
- Operate within an Agile framework, continuously assessing business needs, refining priorities, outlining milestones and deliverables, and identifying potential opportunities and risks.
- Collaborate with user-focused groups to define the self-service user experience, support mechanisms, and monitoring systems for clients.
- Translate product roadmap features into clearly defined product requirements, including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.
- Prioritize and manage the sprint backlog for assigned products, balancing stakeholder requirements.
- Lead the functional design process based on a thorough understanding of user needs and technology.
- Define and draft/review the Functional Specification document (FS) in accordance with the Business Process Document (BPD) and Business Requirements Document (BRD).
- Present the FS to the Technical Architect for design completion.
- Review and endorse the technical design in collaboration with the business.
- Support the functional architecture across multiple processes in a semiconductor laboratory.
- Provide support to global business operations across various time zones.
- Engage in QA checkpoints during delivery to offer guidance and ensure alignment with the original scope.
- Review UAT test cases and work closely with business and execution teams to finalize UAT.
Qualifications / Skills:
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken, with a balance of technical expertise and business insight.
- Self-motivated individual with exceptional project management abilities and capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging, influencing, and inspiring partners and stakeholders to foster collaboration and alignment.
- Demonstrated experience and functional knowledge of an MES system; familiarity with FactoryWorks MES is advantageous.
- Previous experience in the semiconductor industry or relevant semiconductor knowledge is preferred.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree with at least one year of experience in product or project development.
- Experience working with MES solutions and/or within the semiconductor domain.
- Established background in launching software or services in collaboration with engineering teams, demonstrating a high degree of proficiency in prototyping, iterative development, and understanding Agile principles.
- Proven track record of successfully driving end-to-end delivery of data and intelligence solutions, encompassing a variety of mechanisms such as dashboards, APIs, and real-time alerts.
