Job Title: Fire Protection Service Sales

Position Summary:

The Fire Protection Service Sales role is integral to our Service Team, focusing on the promotion and sale of Life Safety Services, including Preventative Maintenance and Repair Quotes. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring our clients receive top-notch service and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales for Fire Life Safety Services.
  • Address deficiencies identified during inspections, as well as manage preventative maintenance and service repairs.
  • Engage with existing clients to confirm that preventative maintenance is performed as stipulated.
  • Provide timely quotes for deficiencies identified during Life Safety Inspections, ideally within 48 hours.
  • Assess client requests, compile material lists on-site, and prepare comprehensive proposals.
  • Draft detailed written quotes outlining the services to be provided.
  • Maintain prompt follow-up with clients to secure sales.
  • Assist clients over the phone during emergency situations and provide technical support as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Service Field Superintendent, Coordinator, and other sales personnel as required.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with a flexible approach to scheduling.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of NFPA Fire Protection codes.
  • Experience in estimating for various sprinkler projects, including tenant improvements and repairs.
  • Demonstrated sales success in a related field.
  • Experience in Fire Sprinkler Design is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Life Safety principles, particularly in Sprinkler and Fire Alarm systems.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Self-motivated and disciplined, capable of working independently.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Commitment to prioritizing customer service.
  • Proficient in computer usage and common software applications.
  • Strong decision-making and process improvement skills.
