Milrose Consultants is actively seeking a Senior Sales Executive to enhance our expanding Sales Division.

With over thirty years of experience, ranging from due diligence to code analysis, land use, zoning evaluation, and special inspections to occupancy approval, Milrose has established enduring relationships with numerous clients throughout the United States, positioning itself as the premier national provider of building code compliance, fulfillment, and consulting services.

In recent years, Milrose has embarked on a mission to broaden its service offerings and market presence by forming strategic alliances with a diverse array of technical experts and specialists that currently make up its family of companies.

Position Summary:

The ideal candidate will be a proactive business partner and a trusted advisor in cultivating and expanding client relationships. This role will drive revenue growth by educating potential and existing clients about Milrose's evolving suite of service offerings. Key responsibilities will include account development and the daily management of a pipeline of opportunities.

The selected individual will be a market leader responsible for implementing and executing the sales strategy within a designated market, aiming to achieve the company's annual revenue targets.

This position reports to the Executive Vice President of Sales and does not have direct reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development & Account Management:
    • Develop a sales strategy to identify new revenue streams:
    • Engage with existing and prospective clients and strategic partners.
    • Conduct meetings and presentations with potential clients to explore new business opportunities.
    • Identify, pursue, and close leads and opportunities for both new and existing business, creating a robust sales pipeline.
    • Build and nurture relationships by participating in industry networking events and hosting client-focused activities.
    • Utilize Milrose Partner relationships to access and engage directly with end-client accounts that have significant potential for annual code and permitting consulting.
    • Collaborate with Milrose partners and team members to develop strategic approaches for existing and former clients.
    • Through regular outreach, enhance awareness and preference for Milrose within the assigned market.
    • Lead all aspects of the commercial sales process through contract award, collaborating with other sales team members as necessary.
  • Business Analytics and Forecasting:
    • Analyze data to inform relevant business decisions.
    • Monitor market trends and track results effectively.
    • Identify emerging markets within the assigned territory.
    • Accurately forecast shifts in sales revenue and their impact on the assigned territory.
  • Regional Marketing Strategies:
    • Collaborate with the Corporate Marketing Department to create and maintain relevant regional marketing materials.
    • Work with the Corporate Marketing Department to uphold a professional presence on social media and develop content for regional news, marketing campaigns, and newsletters.
    • Identify and deliver educational presentations to targeted clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years of sales experience.
  • 2-5 years of relevant prior experience in the Building Department or sales within the construction or related industry.
  • Proficient in using the internet and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Exceptional communication skills.

Compensation:

Milrose Consultants, LLC is dedicated to equitable compensation practices. Salary ranges are determined based on market data alignment. The base salary offered is influenced by several factors, including the candidate's experience, qualifications, and skills.

Annual Base Salary Range: $95,000 - $175,000, plus eligibility for commission.

Work Environment:

This position operates in a professional office setting, routinely utilizing standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee may occasionally be required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to focus.

Expected Work Hours:

This is a full-time position, typically working Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional overtime as needed.

Travel Requirements:

Travel to client sites or municipal agencies is expected for this position. Attendance at meetings may be required at the discretion of management or if project-related.
