Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Support Specialist to join our team at InsideHigherEd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services for our manufacturing and construction equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a wide range of equipment, including industrial machinery, tools, and vehicles.
- Logistics and Supply Chain Management: Coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of equipment and supplies, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to our teams.
- Procurement and Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, communicate with vendors, and negotiate prices to ensure optimal supply chain operations.
- Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting services to our teams, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal equipment performance.
- Education and Experience: Associate degree or technical diploma in a relevant field, plus 2 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Skills and Knowledge: Valid Wisconsin driver's license, CDL Class A or B preferred; OSHA 10 certification; electrical hazard training; fall protection training; and NFPA 70e arc flash protection.
- Personal Qualities: Positive attitude, maturity, initiative, and integrity; excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to work effectively in a team environment; and flexibility in work schedule.
- Competitive Compensation: Starting pay of $24.53 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, education, and internal equity.
