As a Child Behavior Support Specialist, you will receive complimentary training to earn the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). You will apply your expertise to interact with children facing developmental challenges, including Autism, and foster a supportive learning atmosphere that encourages skill development. Our approach is rooted in evidence-based practices known as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), delivered with a focus on trauma-informed and compassionate care. Your daily activities will involve engaging with children in various exercises aimed at enhancing their communication abilities, social skills, and self-esteem.

This position is particularly suited for those who possess a natural inclination to care for others, have an interest in teaching individuals with special needs, or have experience in childcare or education. While prior experience is beneficial, it is not a prerequisite. We offer paid training, a collaborative work environment, and a clear pathway for career advancement.

What to Expect in This Role:
  • Engage with children aged 2-22 who have special needs.
  • Work flexible hours, either full-time or part-time, during weekdays.
  • Acquire skills that can lead to various career opportunities in behavior analysis, education, and related fields.

What We Provide to Support Your Journey:
  • CPR certification.
  • 40 hours of online training required for RBT eligibility.
  • On-the-job training prior to working under supervision.

What We Seek from You:
  • A high school diploma or GED and must be at least 18 years old.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to pass a thorough background check and eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Comfortable moving quickly while interacting with children and occasionally lifting 30-50 lbs.
