Role: Technical Services Representative – Alternative Energy Solutions (AES)

Position Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates the installation and maintenance of compressed natural gas refueling systems in various locations.
  • Conducts training sessions for end users on operational and maintenance procedures.
  • Performs thorough inspections and testing of equipment before delivery.
  • Provides technical support during sales demonstrations and assists with customer inquiries.
  • Responds to service requests, offering remote troubleshooting assistance.
  • Documents service visits and prepares detailed reports for internal distribution.
  • Utilizes problem-solving skills to identify and address equipment failures.
  • Implements corrective measures to enhance system performance.
  • Travels to client sites for preventive maintenance and service checks.
  • Records site conditions to prevent unexpected operational interruptions.
  • Maintains accurate records of customer interactions in the service database.
  • Coordinates with third-party service providers as necessary.
  • Follows up with clients to ensure issues are resolved satisfactorily.
  • Provides round-the-clock technical support on a rotational basis, including weekends and holidays.
  • Engages in activities to ensure machinery operates safely and meets client specifications.
  • Assists in the assembly of new products as needed.
  • Participates in equipment demonstrations at industry events.
  • Contributes to research and development initiatives and special projects as required.

Key Competencies:

  • Strong aptitude for electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to quickly grasp technical specifications of equipment.
  • Capable of working under pressure and adapting to shifting priorities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with colleagues and clients.
  • Must possess or be eligible for a U.S. Passport.
  • Must hold a valid driver's license.

Work Environment: CMD Corporation operates in a secure, well-maintained facility designed for employee comfort and safety. Our culture emphasizes respect, clear communication, and the well-being of our staff.

Employment Status: Full-time, nonexempt position with a rotating on-call schedule.

Travel Requirements: Frequent travel may be necessary, up to 50%, typically scheduled in advance. CMD offers competitive travel incentives and access to company vehicles.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology is preferred.
  • Experience or training in engineering or technical service is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with gas compressors, high-pressure gas systems, and electrical troubleshooting is highly desirable.
