Director of Business Development

At OTHR Management Company (OMC), we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Director of Business Development to spearhead growth across our portfolio of brands. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving new business, building strategic partnerships, and creating meaningful client experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hunter Mentality: Proactively build new relationships and uncover opportunities to drive growth and revenue.
  • Unreasonable Hospitality and Service-Driven Mindset: Anticipate client needs and deliver an extraordinary experience, exceeding expectations and building trust.
  • Drive Revenue Growth: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies, focusing on lead generation, closing deals, and increasing year-over-year revenue.
  • Build Strategic Partnerships: Develop relationships with new high-value clients and partners, expanding services with existing clients.
  • Lead with Vision and Team Development Focus: Inspire, coach, and mentor the sales team to foster a culture of excellence, service, and unreasonable hospitality.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with marketing, the CEO, and other internal teams to create compelling sales collateral and strategic marketing campaigns.
  • Exceed Client Expectations: Deliver unparalleled service, creating memorable experiences that build long-lasting client relationships.
  • Market Expertise & Trend Spotting: Stay ahead of industry trends, competitors, and client needs to proactively offer new solutions and uncover untapped markets.
  • Results-Oriented: Target-driven, with clear accountability for revenue growth, lead generation, and relationship-building KPIs.

Requirements:

  • Proven success in sales and business development roles, preferably within the events/hospitality industry.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and grow accounts through outstanding service and hospitality.
  • Experience managing CRM software and sales automation tools.
  • Leadership experience, with a focus on mentoring, coaching, and inspiring teams to excel.
  • Strong understanding of software development processes and technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a relentless drive to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
