Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Clubhouse Chef to lead our culinary team and oversee the food and beverage operations at our club. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing menus, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Menu Development: Collaborate with our Senior Executive Chef to develop menus that showcase our club's culinary expertise and meet the needs of our members and guests.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and manage a team of culinary staff, including Sous Chefs, Chef de Cuisine, and other kitchen personnel.
  • Food and Beverage Operations: Oversee the preparation and presentation of food and beverages, ensuring high-quality standards and exceptional customer service.
  • Financial Management: Manage the food and beverage budget, including purchasing, inventory, and cost control.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to members and guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Leadership and Development: Foster a positive and productive work environment, providing guidance and support to staff members to help them grow and develop their skills.

Requirements

  • Experience: A minimum of 8 years of experience in a senior culinary role, with a proven track record of leadership and management.
  • Education: A degree in culinary arts or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team. Strong financial management and budgeting skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.

Physical Requirements

  • Standing and Walking: Ability to stand and walk for long periods, with frequent movement between kitchen areas.
  • Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, with frequent bending and stooping.
  • Visual and Auditory Abilities: Ability to see and hear clearly, with the ability to respond to visual and auditory cues.
