Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Clubhouse Chef to lead our culinary team and oversee the food and beverage operations at our club. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing menus, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Menu Development: Collaborate with our Senior Executive Chef to develop menus that showcase our club's culinary excellence and meet the needs of our members and guests.
- Staff Management: Supervise and manage our culinary staff, including Sous Chefs, Chef de Cuisine, and other team members, to ensure seamless execution of food and beverage operations.
- Food Quality and Safety: Maintain the highest standards of food quality and safety, ensuring that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our members and guests, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
- Financial Management: Manage the food and beverage budget, ensuring that expenses are controlled and revenue is maximized.
- Leadership and Development: Lead by example, fostering a positive and productive work environment, and providing opportunities for staff development and growth.
Requirements
- Culinary Experience: A minimum of 8 years of proven culinary experience in a leadership or management role, preferably in a private club or high-end restaurant setting.
- Culinary Education: A graduate of a culinary school or apprenticeship program, highly preferred.
- Leadership and Management Skills: Proven ability to lead by example, foster mentoring relationships, and manage a diverse workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication, management, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate to a wide variety of people.
Physical Requirements
- Standing and Walking: Standing and/or walking 90% of shift.
- Lifting and Carrying: Lifting, carrying, and/or moving from 1 pound up to 50 pounds for 25% of shift.
- Pushing and Pulling: Pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, and upward reaching for 85% of shift.
- Computer Use: Working on a computer 25% of shift.
