Key Responsibilities:
- Menu Development: Collaborate with the Executive Chef to create innovative and mouth-watering menus that meet the needs of our corporate dining clients.
- Culinary Operations: Plan, organize, and supervise daily culinary operations to ensure the highest level of quality and efficiency.
- Team Management: Mentor and develop sous chefs and kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
- Cost Control: Manage food and labor costs to ensure they are within budget and maintain a high level of efficiency in the kitchen.
- Food Safety: Ensure adherence to all local, state, and federal food safety regulations to maintain a safe and healthy environment for our clients and staff.
Requirements:
- Culinary Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Sous Chef, ideally in a corporate dining or upscale catering setting.
- Culinary Education: Culinary school degree or equivalent experience.
- Leadership Skills: Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills, as well as clear and effective communication skills.
- Culinary Knowledge: Knowledge of various cuisines, dietary restrictions, and food preparation techniques.
- Availability: Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays (with the exception of several major holidays off).
