Your Role As an Equipment Control Coordinator, you will play a vital role in documenting and reporting cargo and equipment details, addressing agency and operational inquiries, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of terminal operations information within our internal systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate daily vessel reconciliations and exception reports for terminal operations managers, ensuring data accuracy and timely report delivery.
  • Maintain and update the equipment and container master file, including additions, deletions, and details on usage, ownership, and status.
  • Coordinate container inspections on confirmed vessel sailing dates with relevant regulatory agencies or third-party vendors.
  • Process holds, releases, and destination changes within set timeframes while adhering to company policies and applicable regulations.
  • Collect and input manifest data into systems and worksheets to create, track, and report on inspections.
  • Review system entries and reports to guarantee data accuracy and timeliness.
  • Respond promptly to container status inquiries from terminal operators, operations departments, and trucking companies.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within the shipping, importing/exporting, or related industry is required.
