Key Responsibilities
  • Perform PSI operations for KYOCERA Document Solutions America (KDA) and KDA Sales Companies (Canada, Mexico, Brazil, and Chile)
  • Collaborate with parent company in Japan (KDC) to manage supply chain operations between overseas plants (Hong Kong, China, Vietnam, etc.)
  • Manage inventory and backorders, including analyzing parts trends and characteristics
  • Build and report sales forecasts to KDC
  • Manage PSI and monthly orders for KDAs Sales Companies (Canada, Mexico, Brazil, and Chile)
  • Analyze purchasing and inventory management data to optimize supply chain operations
  • Maintain open POs with KDC to avoid late shipments and discrepancies
  • Perform other related duties assigned by the Manager
Supply Chain Management
  • Monitor import shipments from Kyocera's overseas plants (HK, CN, VN, and Japan) for POs placed to KDC
  • Maintain and arrange ETA of backordered items and items with increased demand with KDC
  • Analyze lead-time for ocean transportation for PSI
  • Process returns and shipments for technical issues to Kyocera's overseas plants (HK, CN, VN, and Japan)
  • Perform other related duties assigned by the Manager
Overall Process related to Sales Operations
  • Process monthly warranty credit claims from Japan for KDA and KDAs Sales Companies
  • Support requests from KDAs internal organizations, KDAs Sales Companies, and KDC
  • Provide other related support, such as pricing setup, report creation, and data analysis
  • Perform other related duties assigned by the Manager
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of supply chain management or inventory management experience
  • Solid knowledge of inventory control principles, including sales forecasting, purchasing, and order fulfillment
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including complex data analysis, dynamic spreadsheets, and advanced functions and formulas
  • Experience in ERP, including Oracle
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to gather and analyze data from various sources, develop hypotheses, and problem-solve complex business issues
  • Strong time management and project management skills
  • Excellent people skills, enabling collaboration, innovation, coordination, and influence across organizations
  • Ability to work and interact with all levels of management/departments
  • Self-directed, with the ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge and experience with VBA
  • Experience with supply chain management systems, such as SAP, JDA, Oracle, etc.
  • Experience in project management and leading process improvement initiatives
  • Bilingual Japanese/English (fluent speaking and writing)
