Position Summary

The New Home Consultant Trainee will gain essential knowledge and skills through a structured Mentor/Mentee relationship with an experienced New Home Consultant. This role is pivotal in managing the daily operations of a Welcome Home Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with customers, process sales agreements, and close new home transactions, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Complete a structured training program to develop proficiency in sales techniques and customer interaction.
  • Utilize Sales Force/CRM to track sales traffic and customer interactions.
  • Assist in planning and executing marketing presentations and events.
  • Conduct Comparative Market Studies in accordance with division standards.
  • Participate in field training with Construction, Customer Care, and office associates.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Physical Requirements

This role may involve some office work, requiring the ability to occasionally bend, stoop, reach, lift, and carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds. Proficiency in using a computer keyboard is necessary.
