KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF A RETAIL SALES CONSULTANT:
  • Promote and sell products displayed on the showroom floor.
  • Engage directly with both internal and external clients.
  • Follow up on customer orders and inquiries.
  • Assist in resolving any merchandise-related issues in collaboration with customer service and warehouse teams.
  • Coordinate with other departments to meet customer requirements.
  • Inquire about customer preferences regarding products, pricing, availability, and usage to better understand their needs.
  • Clearly explain product features in an easily understandable manner.
  • Highlight product advantages tailored to customer needs.
  • Prepare sales documentation for completed transactions.
  • Guide customers in selecting products based on their specifications.
  • Recommend, identify, and assist in locating or acquiring merchandise that aligns with customer needs.
  • Describe products and clarify their use, operation, and maintenance to customers.
  • Stay informed about new products, policies, and current promotions.
  • Utilize effective methods for showcasing, promoting, and selling products.
  • Maintain excellent customer relations.
  • Conduct follow-ups with customers via email and phone.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS: Ability to lift merchandise weighing up to 40 lbs for moving items as part of the sales process; must be capable of standing or walking for extended periods; must effectively listen and respond to customer needs; ability to communicate clearly with team members; prior sales experience is preferred but not mandatory; maintain a positive demeanor when interacting with customers; understanding of merchandise handling procedures.

Physical Demands: Occasionally lifting up to 10 lbs and rarely lifting up to 40 lbs.

Work Environment: Indoor, climate-controlled setting.
