Healthcare Front Office Administrator

As a Healthcare Front Office Administrator, you will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of our clinic. Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming Patients: Greet patients and provide clear instructions to all visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
- Telephone Management: Handle incoming calls and manage telephone reception duties.
- Insurance Verification: Analyze health insurance benefits, verify eligibility, and communicate essential information regarding payment policies and billing processes.
- Reception Area Maintenance: Ensure the reception area is organized and ready for patient visits.
- Clerical Support: Perform various clerical tasks while adhering to established policies and procedures.
- Team Assistance: Support the practice manager and collaborate with other staff as needed.
- Operational Support: Provide overall assistance for physician and office operations.
- Medical Records Management: Handle medical records duties efficiently.
- Appointment Scheduling: Manage scheduling tasks to optimize patient flow.
- Patient History Documentation: Obtain and accurately document patient history.
- Regulatory Compliance: Understand and enforce standard healthcare regulatory requirements.
- Confidentiality Maintenance: Collect and maintain all patient and business documents while ensuring confidentiality.
- Administrative Duties: Perform general office procedures and administrative tasks.
- EMR Documentation: Document medical interventions in Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure adherence to HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
Qualifications:
- Preferred: At least 1 year of experience in a Pain Management or Internal Medicine office.
- Experience with personal injury cases is a plus.
- Familiarity with medical records management is essential.
- Experience with EClinicalWorks EMR is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
