Job Summary

This position is responsible for providing administrative support to the grant team at Eastern New Mexico University. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including data collection, budget management, and communication with faculty and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the grant team, including data collection, budget management, and communication with faculty and staff.
  • Assist with the preparation of grant reports and proposals.
  • Manage and maintain databases and spreadsheets.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and prepare travel documentation.
  • Perform general filing and record-keeping duties.
  • Assist with the maintenance of budget records and communication with the ENMU-Roswell business office.
  • Collect and analyze data, and collaborate with the ENMU-R Institutional Effectiveness office.
  • Provide customer service to students and respond to their needs.
Requirements
  • Associate degree plus two years of administrative experience, or four years of progressively responsible administrative experience.
  • Experience with technology and software for communication, report writing, data collection, and spreadsheets.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with a diverse population.
Working Conditions

This position is a sedentary role that requires occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds. Work is performed during normal business hours, with some flexibility to meet deadlines.
