Key Responsibilities

The Clinical Administrative Coordinator will play a vital role in the operational efficiency of the nursing department within Skilled Nursing and/or Assisted Living. The responsibilities include:

  • Staff Scheduling: Develop and manage staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage, address open shifts, and oversee time-off requests.
  • Supply Management: Maintain inventory levels of medical supplies, notify the Director of Nursing regarding supply needs, and track usage for billing purposes.
  • Expense Reporting: Accurately code and submit invoices for departmental expenses.
  • Quality Assurance: Assist with audits of resident assessments and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Records Management: Ensure timely completion of resident documentation, manage chart audits, and oversee the retention and destruction of medical records.
  • Administrative Support: Organize meetings, prepare agendas, and maintain nursing station organization.

Qualifications
  • GED or High School Diploma
  • Minimum of three years of experience in long-term care
