Facilities Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Manager to join our team at Heart of San Diego Surgery Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our facility, ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Facility Management: Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our facility, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Operations: Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure that all necessary services are provided, including waste management, security, and IT support.
- Compliance: Ensure that our facility is in compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets for facility operations, including capital expenditures and maintenance costs.
- Leadership: Supervise and train staff members to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent, with a minimum of two years of advanced education in business, healthcare, or engineering.
- Experience: Five years of experience in facilities management, with a strong background in operations, compliance, and financial management.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, vendors, and regulatory agencies.
- Certifications: Certified Facility Manager (CFM) certification, with CPR certification.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent deadlines and priorities. The ability to work effectively under pressure, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills, is essential.
